FY2016 Health Infrastructure Investment Program Award
乐动体育官方网站The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded over $260 Million to health centers across the nation to build and renovate facilities in order to serve more patients. These funds will help over 800,000 new underserved patients receive comprehensive primary and preventative health services.
This funding comes from the Affordable Care Act’s Community Health Center (CHC) Fund, which was extended with bipartisan support in the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015.
There were four awards that were given in the state of Colorado totaling $3,999,688, which will allow CHCs to serve a projected 14,484 additional patients.
